An excellent roma tomato from Brazil that we sourced from the USDA seed bank. No cracking or splitting whatsoever. Very good yields and highly resileint foliage (yielded into October this year). Fruits keep well and hold well in the field. Very good flavor and fruit quality, fresh or cooked. Full sized plants with indeterminate vines.  It was donated to the USDA in the early 1980s by someone named C. Da Costa from University of Sao Paolo in Brazil. The USDA listing notes say “developed under high temperature conditions.” We see this variety as a huge success story for our trialing program. We are so excited to get it out there – we think it will go far.
