A productive eggplant originally from Taiwan. Purple fruits are narrow and grow to a foot long. If picked when dark purple they do not need peeling – the skin is tender and delicious. Good sliced in half, coated with oil and tamari and baked; or baked in a slow cooker and blended or mashed (skin on) to make baba ghanouj. 230 seeds/gram.
