DMR 264 Slicing Cucumber (Certified Organic)

DMR 264 has excellent downy mildew resistance but takes a long time to mature. Bred by Michael Mazourek, whose breeding program at Cornell focuses on breeding for organic conditions, and released by Common Wealth Seed Growers in 2015. DMR-264 sets fruit 10-15 days later than Marketmore 76. Successful in very hot, humid, high-DM conditions. Generally not recommended for northern growers. These are smaller than a standard slicer and should be picked at 5 inches. We pay breeder royalties to Cornell for this variety. We are looking to phase out DMR 264 in the next 1-2 years due to its long days to maturity and the availability of other good options, so now is the time to get it if you’re interested. 35 seeds/gram.
