Straight, light green pods similar in appearance to Clemson Spineless. Plants are of medium height and well-branched. An heirloom from the Simpson family in Rogersville, TN that has been grown at least as far back as the 1940s. Very productive for Care of the Earth Community Farm in Corryton, TN in both dry and wet years.. Handles wet seasons better and has better flavor than Clemson Spineless. 14 seeds/gram.
