Grown by Twin Oaks Seed Farm (VA) – Zea mays – 120 days

Sturdy plants produce medium-sized ears with white kernels. Ears fill out well. Especially good for grits; also cornmeal, hominy, etc. We’ve been growing and selecting this off and on for 10+ years and continue to be impressed with its productivity in both wet and dry conditions. Tested free of GMO contamination in a 10,000 kernel PCR test at Foodchain ID Testing (accurate to 99.99%). Note that this is an expensive test, so it does add to the cost of the seed. Original seedstock from Harold Jerrell, through Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. 85 seeds/oz.
