Beautiful, productive and tasty pole limas that tolerate drought and keep setting pods in very hot weather. Harvest the dry pods once a week or so from mid August through late October, and eat year round – they have a rich and hearty flavor. The beans don’t tend to fall prey to mold, so they need little or no sorting once winnowed. Saved by 4 generations of Violet Brady Westbrook’s family in Banks County, Georgia.
