Mini Paulista Summer Squash (Certified Organic)

Grown by Care of the Earth Community Farm – Cucurbita moschata – 60 days

In 2023 we started exploring moschata-species summer squash because they’re naturally vine borer resistant. Mini Paulista has been a favorite variety at both Twin Oaks Seed Farm and Care of the Earth Community Farm. It has an awesome combination of disease and insect tolerance, good fruit set, rich flavor, and short-vined growth habit. We’re not sure if it is used as a summer or winter squash in Brazil, but we think they really stand out as summer squash. Attractive green and white striped coloration and butternut shape. Fruits should be picked at six inches or less. 11 seeds/gram.
