Research sample – This is a smaller selection from the Cuban Neck Pumpkin seedstock Edmund Frost first started working with in 2014 at Twin Oaks Seed Farm. The 3-4 pound butternut-shaped squash have gorgeous striped coloration, turning from green-and-white to orange-and-white starting a couple weeks before harvest, with the green going away completely by six weeks after harvest. Currently these have lower sweetness and dry matter than our regular Cuban Neck Pumpkin selection, but Edmund is actively selecting for improved eating quality and these seeds come from the best 2023 plants. Plants are fully vining and productive, with moderate to good downy mildew resistance. 360 seeds/oz.
