Beaverdam Hot Pepper (Certified Organic)

Grown by Twin Oaks Seed Farm – 70 days – Capsicum annuum

Beautiful bright red peppers that start out light green and have mild to medium heat. 6-7 inches long, 2-3 inches at the top and tapered. Very sweet when used red, in addition to being hot, and mild enough that you can use a good bit without overpowering the dish. We got seedstock from Christopher Hoetschl, through the Seed Savers Exchange yearbook. Plants are very productive, somewhat small, and bear early. 125 seeds/gram.
